We are a specialist in dresses for every occasion, School Proms, Black Tie Balls, Cruise Wear, University Balls and Private Parties. Prom Queen is located in Mirfield, West Yorkshire and our brand new showroom has the best selection of long dresses in the area.

Our ranges include fishtail dresses, ballgowns, fitted satin dresses to princess A-lines and all-over sparkly WOW ones too! We keep our website up to date and the majority of the dresses we stock can be found here. We offer dress exclusivity, so we do not sell the same dress twice to the same school, even in a different colour.

From the moment we walked into Prom Queen we felt welcomed and comfortable. We were allocated our own room and changing room which made the experience personal and private. Clair was very professional, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. We did go to another shop and we felt under pressure to but something there and then. We didn’t get that here. I would highly recommend..

Went last week to find a prom dress for my stepdaughter. A great experience. Evie and Clare are both very welcoming, friendly and professional.
The dress choice is vast, and very well set out. I'm happy to say that we said "yes" to a prom dress.

Absolutely brilliant service from beginning to end. It was more than a prom dress, it was a whole experience! The owner was very patient as we tried on so many dresses, nothing was too much trouble and the dress we finally chose was stunning. Very good quality. And the fact that no one else could’ve bought the exact same dress from there really eased my daughter’s anxiety around turning up in the same as someone else! 🤦🏼‍♀️ no doubt in a couple of years we’ll be back… for her wedding dress! Me and my daughter paid a visit to the Prom Queen shop after visiting others and we were so impressed with the 1:1, bespoke customer service provided by Clare. No pressure, no timings to make a decision, tried many on and retried with feeling awkward, just fantastic customer service that really made my daughter feel at ease. Would definitely highly recommend Clare. Great communication after the purchase and final fitting too. Felt very looked after.

We attended a private appointment with Claire to choose my daughters pro dress, what a fantastic service from start to finish. There are so many dresses to select & try on, my daughter was given the time to try on as many dresses as she wanted & very helpful and honest advice was given by Claire, the dress Erin choose was stunning & arrived swiftly.

The shop had so many dresses to choose from and some jaw dropping ones indeed. The experience was amazing Claire was a lovely lady very helpful and truthful which is what I wanted. It made me feel so comfortable been there on my own as a 1 on 1 appointment we had a great time choosing dresses thank you so much for an amazing experience highly recommend to everyone.!! Would also like to thank a seamstress Claire uses called Gillian she did an amazing last minute fix up.

An absolutely amazing time from start to finish. My daughter was put at ease and we were the only ones in the shop for her allocated time slot, which is great if your daughter has anxiety or is self conscious, this for me truly made the experience much more personal and magical, and to top it off she found her dream dress.
